About Me

Jake Ehlert PA-C

My path into medicine began on the front lines of mental health crisis response, where I worked closely with individuals navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. That experience was formative—it solidified my commitment to pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant and dedicating my work to improving access to compassionate, effective mental health care.

Since graduating, I have practiced in primary care with a strong emphasis on behavioral health. This background allows me to approach mental health through a comprehensive lens, recognizing the deep connection between physical health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being.

My approach integrates whole-person care, including attention to exercise, nutrition, sleep, and sustainable daily habits alongside evidence-based psychiatric treatment. I believe that meaningful, lasting change comes from addressing both mind and body—not just symptoms. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use, and a range of other behavioral health concerns. I am passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make real progress toward their goals.
